The Exchange Family Center needs a bunch of volunteers who love peanuts! Each year the Center buys many cases of North Carolina home-grown peanuts and sells them throughout the Durham County area. We make $1 on every bag sold and have raised thousands of dollars every year. All proceeds support the Center's free child abuse prevention programs in Durham County. Volunteers will deliver cases of peanuts to local businesses who place the boxes in their stores to sell. Later volunteers go back to those stores to collect all money raised. Also looking for new ways to promote and distribute the peanuts. Peanuts will be ready for sale this October. Planning committee will meet this summer. All new volunteers are welcome to join us!

Description
We do what we can to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved. At times, children are at risk for abuse and neglect. Exchange Family Center has been involved in the community for 25 years, helping families and preventing child abuse and neglect.
An IRS certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Exchange Family Center makes a difference in the lives of children, adolescents and their families through the provision of family support, counseling, case management, group counseling, education, and supportive services.
These services are provided through our three main programs, including Early Childhood Outreach (EChO), Family Support Program (FSP), and the Parenting of Adolescents (POA) program.
