Lowcountry Senior Center Greeter: Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30- 11:30a.m. and Tuesday and Thursdays afternoons from 12 -1:30p to greet members and guests with a smile, give tours, and answer questions about the Lowcountry Senior Center. You can do one or more shifts per week!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote social interaction and physical and emotional well-being of older adults through recreational and educational opportunities as well as serving as a source of referral services available within the Charleston area. The target group for the activities of the Center are the well elderly with program emphasis on creating and maintaining independence in all phases of life.
Description
We are a Senior Center located at 865 Riverland Drive on James Island next to James Island County Park. We are open Mondays - Thursdays, 8 am - 8 pm and Fridays 8 am - 4pm, and Saturdays 8 am - 1 pm. We provide indoor and outdoor educational, recreational, social and wellness activities for senior adults aged 50 and older.
