The 2014 Sarasota Lock-Up will be held at the Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Sarasota. We are looking for volunteers to be there from 8a-3p helping with check-in, decorations, raffle tickets, etc. You are able to earn community service hours if needed for school or scholarships.
The lock-up is a fundraiser for the MDA where top community and business leaders in the Sarasota area go to "jail" for one hour and raise their bail money for the MDA.

Mission Statement
MDA is a voluntary health agency dedicated to the eradication of the muscular dystrophies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease), myasthenia gravis, the spinal muscular atrophies, Friedrich's ataxia and a host of other neuromuscular diseases.
Description
The MDA is working to defeat neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, services and public health education. MDA's programs are funded almost entirely by individual private contributors.
