What is Family Night all about?

Community Kitchen’s welcomes you to our Tuesday night family program that focuses on building stronger relationships between families. We do this through playing fun and exciting games, including inside and outside activities, crafts and much more. After our activity hours, we sit down to eat a delicious and nutritious dinner meal together. Parents are always encouraged to participate in the games and crafts with their children.

During this time, a sense of community is built by allowing the children and parents to meet and develop new friendships. Children enjoy making new friends and spending time together in a safe, comfortable environment while parents are able to connect with one another.

Additionally, our program centers upon providing children and parents with an opportunity to just have fun! Through our activities, parties, community events, and crafts children are also able to learn and grow as individuals while learning to work together in a team setting. Each week we have a different theme focusing on various holidays, special occasions, seasonal events, and community outreach.

St. Dominic’s Family Center , 453 N. 20th Street, Columbus Ohio 43203.

Tuesdays 3:30pm to 6:15pm . It is important to schedule your volunteer date through our agency. See below for Volunteer Coordinator contact.

Steps to volunteer:

1. Please visit: communitykitchencoumbus.org , select "how to help", next "volunteer with us" and follow the steps and link to print off orientation and application packet.

2. After completing the application and forms, please email Ashley the scan: volunteer@communitykitchencolumbus.org OR you can drop it off to our Ohio Ave. location.

3. Lastly, after Ashley receives your application, she will schedule a brief orientation for you or your group.
