DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT / PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT
City Olympics promotes health and active lifestyles by featuring different competitions and family activities. ACTIVE Life will be supporting City Olympics by creating and producing family activities for the event. Therefore we need assistance in all aspects of event execution during the event day.
OUTLINE OF VOLUNTEER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
Volunteers will assist on the activity set-up, guest assistance, activity oversight, and clean up. Two shifts are available
8:30am-12:00pm
11:30am-2:30pm
ACTIVITIES:
- Hula Hoop/Jump Rope Challenge
- QB Football Challenge
- Fun Fit Obstacle Course
- Chicken Relay Race
- Soccer Goal Challenge
- Sugar Demonstration (alt. drink)
- Healthy Food Toss
- What’s Recyclable toss
- Spin Wheel
- Face Painting
SUPPORT PLAN
Volunteers will work under the direction of the event committee, ACTIVE Life staff, or other volunteers.
TIME COMMITMENT
Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least 3.5 hours; totaling one complete shift.
