Looking for Live Music at Mealtimes

There is nothing the patients at Sloan’s Lake Rehabilitation Center like more than having live music in the building! Unfortunately, given the tiny budget that our activities staff operates on, we don’t have money to bring in many performers. However, we don’t want money to stop us from bringing in great music for our patients! We have some volunteer musicians who donate 30 minutes of their time here and there, and we are looking for some more! We would particularly love to have some music in the dining room during mealtimes- guitarists, singers, pianists, etc. It doesn’t need to be a memorized performance- many of our musicians just bring in books of sheet music and play through songs that catch their eye. The patients love everything, and it’s great to hear them start to hum or sing along when they hear something they know! If you would like to donate 30 minutes of your time and talents for our residents, please contact me!

Description
We are a new, 45-bed rehabilitation center on the shores of Sloan's Lake in Denver. We look forward to bringing in volunteers to help our residents have a more pleasant stay while they're with us.
