Bright Pink is proud to announce an exciting initiative with Westfield Shopping Centers nationwide. On May 3-4, Westfield malls throughout the country will be celebrating VIPink weekend - a shopping event benefitting Bright Pink and offering mall visitors the opportunity to brighten up on breast and ovarian health.
This is where you come in. In order to show our support for this national fundraising initiative, we're looking to enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help us take action!
The commitment:
- 4-8 hours of onsite support at your local Westfield Mall on May 3 or 4 (exact times to be discussed with each volunteer)
- Support "Pink Central", the educational hub at the malls where shoppers will pick up their VIPink discount cards and Bright Pink educational materials
- An hour of preparation prior to ground yourself in Bright Pink messaging and the Westfield partnership
- Capture photos of the activation (Pink Central, Shoppers buying the card, participating retailers)
- An email recap and photos to Bright Pink within 24-hours post shift
Here's what we'll provide:
- One-pager of message training on Bright Pink, Westfield, and the VIPink weekend
- Exact Shift Hours
- Onsite contact to touch-base with upon arrival
- Stipend to cover travel/parking on a need basis
- Bright Pink T-shirt as a thank you (we love you!) and to wear onsite day of
If you are unsure where the nearest Westfield mall near your home is, you may view a list of all locations here.
Please email brightpink@bebrightpink.org if you are interested in this exciting opportunity! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
