1 City, 3 Days, 10 Causes, 300 Volunteers from communities across San Diego Prizes and Fun.
Join 300 mighty volunteers on April 25th, 26th, and 27th on a memorable giving adventure across San Diego to support 10 causes simultaneously.
iVOW History: The foundation for what would become Volunteer Weekend began over 20 years ago when a young leader had a call to embark on a journey of legacy, values and civic engagement.
On April 27, 2013, she mobilized volunteers across San Diego to join Rotarians during an international community service day and serve 13 local nonprofit projects addressing special issues including children's education, our military, the elderly, environmental awareness, arts and education, homeless housing, and animal welfare.
Volunteer Weekend is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging the entire community of San Diego to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and improves our quality of life.
Our Mission is to bring nonprofits, students, and community members from all walks of life together to make a powerful impact on our community.
