The Future of Flight Foundation is seeking Event Support for the Development Department. You must be able to commit to support one or both of our annual events: Wine, Wings & More on June 20, 2014 and our Annual Gala & Auction on October 18, 2014. As other event opportunities become available, Event Support Volunteers will be given the option to provide further support. Under the primary supervision of the Development Director, Event Support may include:
Before Event Support - procuring auction items, entering auction items into data base, entering event attendees, preparing gift bags, merchandising auction items, creating silent bid sheet, designing event signage and event promotion.
Night of Event Support - Registration/check-in, live auction runners, live auction spotters, silent auction setup/take down, coat check, store assistance, event setup, vendor support, tech support and parking.
After Event Support - organizing and auditing data, inputting data into database, creating thank you letters and other administrative support.
The full list of positions will be discussed with volunteers and they may indicate the roles they are qualified for.
We are seeking a minimum of a one-year commitment. Applicants must complete an application, participate in an interview, and pass a background check. You must be 21 years or older to participate in the Wine, Wings & More event.

Description
The Institute of Flight is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves as the operator of the Future of Flight Aviation center and Boeing Tour facility, which is owned by Snohomish County.
Our role is to strengthen and deepen the visitor experience and provide hands-on STEAM related educational programs to Snohomish County students. We are able to achieve this due to the generosity of our partners, sponsors, members and donors.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour debuted in Fall 2005 as a unique aviation interpretive center and the home of the Boeing Tour, their Everett WA assembly plant.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour offers a remarkable opportunity to see both commercial jet production today and the direction aviation is headed in the future. The Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery features hands-on exhibits, videos, meeting and conference space and spectacular viewing of planes from that take-off and land at Paine Field on a daily basis.
