The exciting New Moon Half & Quarter Marathon kicks off fun summer nights with both a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and a Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles). The event, which begins and ends in the heart of downtown Delaware, Ohio is open to runners and walkers and benefits the American Lung Association of Central Ohio.
The New Moon Half & Quarter Marathon is a party and celebration of that is fun on great summer nights - live music and sidewalk festival will create a festive post-event summer blast for you and all your friends and family.
The urban run course starts directly in the downtown of Delaware, takes you through the neighborhoods that make up the city, by the home of the Little Brown Jug, through the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University, through the business district, to an exciting downhill finish back at the heart of downtown. The New Moon Half & Quarter Marathon is the must-do running and walking event of the summer.

The American Lung Association of the Midland States (including Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee) is committed to our mission to prevent lung disease and promote lung health, through education, research and advocacy. Our focus is on smoking, asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis).
