Join Friends of Trees to prune young street trees in Eugene! These fun events help you learn pruning skills, get outside, and meet new people. No specific training is needed. All tools provided.
At each event, we'll have a brief demonstration of proper pruning technique, then break into small teams and pair new volunteers with experienced pruners to prune street trees for structure, clearance, and health. We will have both regularly scheduled Saturday events, and also small groups that go out to prune on both weekend and weekday mornings and afternoons. Registration required.
