"Give back to Veterans in need!" Volunteer to drive them to the Tomah VA Medical Center. Drivers are needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday one week and Tuesday and Thursday on the alternating weeks. If you enjoy talking with local Veterans, consider sharing your time by transporting them to medical appointments in Tomah. The Volunteer driver will need to leave at 7:30 a.m. and will return around 2:30 p.m. A van is available for this group of volunteer drivers. Please consider how you might support a Veteran. Once a week, or whatever works with your schedule. Help ensure our veterans continues to feel the support of their community! We guarantee, it will brighten someone’s day! Description
Western Dairyland's Retired & Senior Volunteer Pprogram invites adults age 55 and older to "Lead With Experience" in their community! RSVP provides free, individualized support to volunteers in Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin and Trempealeau counties, partnering with more than 60 community organizations where RSVP volunteers can potentially serve. We have a wide variety of opportunties throughout our service area and want to work with you to find the right match!
RSVP volunteers are part of the nation-wide service network SeniorCorps, sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service.
