Volunteer to remove invasive garlic mustard with Kansas City WildLands! We’ll be working in the woodlands surrounding Rocky Point Glades in Swope Park, seeking and pulling garlic mustard plants - a nasty exotic invasive that would eventually take over the woodland floor if left alone. All volunteers must register in advance. Please click here to sign up. If you have a group, please contact Linda Lehrbaum, 816-561-1061, ext. 116 or email linda@bridgingthegap.org.
Kansas City WildLands is a program of Bridging The Gap.

Mission Statement
Bridging The Gap's mission is to make the Kansas City region sustainable by connecting environment, economy and community.
Description
Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
