The Idaho Operation Military Kids (OMK) programs seek to meet the needs of Idaho National Guard youth by offering activities that provide support, express gratitude, and the opportunity to develop life skills.
Enhance the Operation Military Kids program on a short term and part-time basis by maintaining and improving OMKs web-presence and presentation
1. Update and maintain OMKs webpages via University of Idaho and National web manager contacts
2. Maintain OMKs Facebook and Twitter pages, uploading images from events and flyers.
3. Ensure up-to-date information is provided on all OMKs media pages on a weekly basis.
4. Work in publisher to create flyers for upcoming OMK events
5. Review OMKs media practices and review them with OMK director, offering ideas for improvement.

Idaho Operation: Military Kids builds community partnerships to increase capacity for youth, families, and communities to support youth of military families.
Description
Operation:Military kids (OMK) is the U.S. Army’s collaborative effort with America’s communities to support children and youths of the National Guard, Amy Reserve, and Active Duty families impacted by the Global War on Terrorism. State 4-H Military Liaisons lead OMK State Teams in 34 states in partnerships with the National Guard, Army Reserve, the Military Child Education Coalition, Boys and Girls Club of America, the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, and the American Legion. These and other community state or local organizations are joining the Army Child & Youth Services to support military youths before, during, and after the deployment of a parent or loved one.
