You will join a team of VSA Texas Teaching Artists. Emphasis is in fostering self-confidence, choice making and independence in our participants. We all learn together as equals, sharing strengths and mentoring each other. Your job will be a general assistant to the teaching artist, helping with class management, planning, leading, one to one support/assistance to students as needed and other duties as required. Orientation and training will be provided.

Your Schedule: We prefer you join us for the time commitment listed for the camps on a regular basis. Please know we count on you and plan our daily schedule of activities based on staff availability. If interested please email lynn@vsatx.org or call
512-454-9912. Our campers are ages 15 with disabilities.

Camp 1: Explore Your Creativity! A Makers Workshop

DATE: June 9 - June 12 &
June 16 - June 19

TIME: Monday - Thursday
10 am - 2 pm


New Media Arts instructor Carol Stensrud Ed.D. CTRS.

Workshop will provide quick lessons on painting, printmaking, collage, comics & book making, bottle sculpture, wearable art and photography. No previous experience necessary.
