Vehicles for Change volunteer will assist staff with client intake process to help low-income individuals gain access to transportation to work so they can become self-reliant.

Volunteers will field incoming calls, screen potential clients for eligibility, and answer their questions, about the program, check and return voice messages, compile and assign numbers to applications and record in database, periodically complete follow-up surveys using Survey Monkey (training provided), light filing and other office duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 20 years or older
  • Submit to background check
  • Must be comfortable using excel and be willing and able to learn program-specific software.
  • Must have excellent oral communication skills and be comfortable speaking with people from a variety of nationalities
  • Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
