Senator Muse is hosting a Senior Health, Technology and Community event on Friday, April 25th at Oxon Hill Library in southern Prince George's County.

There will be presentations from a number of organizations to include:
1) Department of Family Services - Aging
2) Verizon will do a technology presentation with computers and cell phones
3) AARP
4) Juice 4 Life

The Senator has invited the National Kidney Foundation to attend the event to provide information about chronic kidney disease/end-stage renal disease because Prince George's County has among the highest prevalence of these conditions in the state of Maryland.

We need 2-4 volunteers that are passionate about the cause, would like to learn more about NKF, comfortable talking to others in a fast paced environment and interested in educating the public about kidney disease and organ donation.

Responsibilities: Pick up supplies from NKF/NCA office. Represent NKF at event by staffing a table to providing educational materials and information abourt risk factors for CKD, causes and treatments, general kidney health and organ donation. Complete an evaluation form for the event. Return left over supplies to NKF/NCA office.
