The Twin Cities Mobile Market bus brings fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, and other healthy foods to under-served urban areas that often lack such options. The next TC Mobile Market event will be held in conjunction with Wellness Thursdays at First Lutheran Church on April 24. Volunteers are needed to help get community feedback on a number of areas, including what foods should be stocked on the TC Mobile Market bus.
Opportunities include assisting with set-up and tear-down, facilitating small group discussions with residents, administering surveys, and sharing information about the TC Mobile Market program. The event lasts 3-4 hours from set-up to tear-down and is located at First Lutheran Church, 463 Maria Avenue, St. Paul from 4:00-7:00 p.m. All volunteers are required to participate in a Wilder orientation and 1-2 hours of event specific training.
