Make this a fun and rewarding group activity. Invite your co-workers, club, family and friends to join you in supporting this worthy cause. You will experience the joy of assisting a new bride as she chooses her "dream gown" while meeting some of the nicest people!
Where you can help (different times/shifts available):
1) Greeters-Greet Bride, give layout of floor plan, dressing room rules, point out vendors and outreach tables.(men can help)
2) Registration-Have brides and guests sign in all required information. Introduce greeters and personal shoppers.(men can help)
3) Personal Shoppers-Assist brides in finding the dress of their dreams. Many brides will come alone. You will become their mother, sister, maid of honor, grandmother, and best friend. Once you find 3 dresses to match her style, you will carry dresses to fitting room, and introduce her to the dressing room assistant.(men can help)
4) Dressing Room Assistant-Each assistant will have 3 dressing rooms to manage. You will be responsible for assisting bride in and out of dresses, removing dresses from room and placing them on go back rack, finding alternate dresses for brides. We want the bride to try on all possible dresses prior to exiting. Sales and retail experience a plus.(women only please)
5) Go back runner-Responsible for keeping fresh inventory on racks at all times. Also assist the dressing room attendants with dresses. You will become very familiar with inventory. Please ask assistants if they need replacement dresses for the brides.(men can help)
6) Fill-ins-Help with any miscellaneous needs that come up as day progresses.(men can help)
7) Setup-Help with moving in racks, setting up interior displays, and any miscellaneous needs that come up.(men can help)
8) Breakdown-Help with moving out racks, taking down interior displays, and any miscellaneous needs that come up.(men can help)

Brides Against Breast Cancer contributes to free programs and services offering support, education and hope to cancer patients and their families. Our outreach and educational efforts during our "Tour of Gowns" bridal shows around the country help ensure that people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge and strengthened by action.
Description
Wedding gown sales are an important fund-raising event for Brides Against Breast Cancer. Our more than 50 yearly shows provide brides-to-be with an opportunity to find their dream gown (at an incredible savings), while contributing to services that provide support, education and hope to men and women affected by breast cancer.
The worldwide support of designers, manufacturers, bridal shops and individuals (who donate a most treasured possession) make possible our Nationwide Tour of Gowns sales.
This unique opportunity allows brides-to-be a chance to find the gown of their dreams at a remarkable price. Most gown prices range from $99 to $799, including hundreds of beautiful new, brand name and designer gowns valued up to $8,000. Exclusive designer and couture gowns valued up to $20,000 are also available at an incredible 25% to 75% savings!
Our Brides Against Breast Cancer program has received more than 50,000 wedding gown donations, with an estimated resale value of over 4 million dollars. This generous endowment is due in part to national media coverage, including magazine articles in Redbook, Family Circle, Woman’s Day, Martha Stewart’s Winter Wedding, Time, Philanthropy World and Modern Bride, along with appearances on Oprah Winfrey, CNN, MSNBC, Ananda Lewis and hundreds of television and newspaper interviews.
More than half the gowns presented during each event are NEW designer gowns that arrived directly from designers, manufacturers and bridal retailers.
