Volunteer & make a difference in a continuing restoration project in the western areas of Grassy Waters Preserve planting native grasses, shrubs and trees. Learn about restoration benefits, which helps improve our water quality and wildlife habitat. Enjoy the beautiful views in an area not usually open to the public.

Description
Grassy Waters Preserve offers unique educational and guided recreational opportunities on the edge of a 20+ square mile wetlands resource. The Preserve includes Nature Center Pavilions, boardwalk trails, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, educational programs and more! Apoxee Urban Wilderness Park is located on the Southeast corner of Grassy Waters Preserve.
