Over the last several years, the Medina County parks have been experiencing an invasion of the alien plant called garlic mustard. Garlic mustard is an invasive plant that is very aggressive and is displacing our beautiful wildflowers in many of our parks. We need the help of many volunteers to hand-pull garlic mustard since spraying with herbicides would also destroy our wildflowers. We will train you on site. All you need to bring are your garden gloves and a weeding tool if you desire. Disposable gloves will be provided.
