Washington State Capitol Volunteers lead public tours and provide information about state history, architecture, government, and the legislative process. Volunteers meet, greet, and provide assistance to visitors from all over the world, serving as educators, guides and ambassadors for the State of Washington. A comprehensive training program is offered and a weekly shift of 3 hours is required.

The Washington State Capitol Visitor Services Program welcomes more than 200,000 visitors, including hundreds of school groups, each year to the historic buildings and grounds of the Capitol Campus in Olympia.
