Did you know each year more than four million dogs enter animal shelters across the US? Want to help? We do.
GreaterGood is working to help support shelters and their dogs by transforming facilities through a national shelter renovation program.
We need your help to improve day-to-day operations by identifying and executing needed beautification and improvement projects. We will be painting, landscaping, repairing kennels, making dog beds, and more. You don’t need any special skills - we will have staff on hand to train you on the projects - you just need a desire to help animals!
Join us in making a difference for your local shelter and the animals in their care! Meet new friends, and bring old ones!

Greater Good Charitiesis an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization devoted to improving the health and well-being of people, pets, and the planet. Since 2006, we have given over $30 million to charity partners and programs worldwide that work toward our mission. We work mainly in the core areas of:
- Alleviating and addressing the root causes of world hunger and food insecurity, and promoting peaceful co-existence
- Early detection and treatment of breast cancer and other widespread health concerns, particularly in women
- Preventing and treating childhood illness, disease and other children’s health and well-being concerns
- Promoting children’s literacy and education
- Protecting and restoring the environment
- Providing care and feeding of rescued animals in shelters and sanctuaries and addressing the root causes of their conditions
