The American Diabetes Association is gearing up for its 7th Annual Diabetes Expo on Saturday, August 9th, 9am-3pm at the NWA Convention Center in Springdale and are looking for volunteers. The event is FREE to the community and welcomes attendees to partake in speakers, health screenings, exhibit booths, one-on-one medical consultations, and nutrition activities.
We are needing volunteers who can assist with customer service and/or event set-up/break-down. In return, our volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lunch. This is an especially great networking opportunity for college students majoring/minoring in health and wellness, pharmacy, nutrition, nursing, or medicine.
