Continuous: The Teddy Bear Den is an incentive program that provides free baby care products to low-income pregnant women as incentives to practice healthy behaviors throughout their pregnancies. Teddy Bear Den clients "earn" points toward incentives, such as diapers and infant clothing, through a variety of positive, health-promoting activities: attending prenatal care appointments, participating in prenatal education classes, keeping appointments for well-baby visits, etc. We depend on items donated by businesses and the community to stock the Teddy Bear Den and provide essential items to pregnant and parenting moms in need.

Maintain Teddy Bear Den: sort incentive items and place on proper racks and shelves; tag incentive items; straighten store after each client visit.

Stocking Teddy Bear Den: inventory incentive items and make list of needed items.

(Minimum requirement for Teddy Bear Den boutique volunteers is one shift per month)

Community Baby Shower Host

Plan, organize, and host a baby shower to collect baby items, maternity items, or monetary donations for Teddy Bear Den.

Provide Services to Teddy Bear Den Clients: greet clients; help register clients; and assist clients in redeeming points for incentives. Spanish speaking is necessary.

May: March for Babies happens in May in Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden. We need plenty of help with set up and/or take down as well as helping during the event. During the event volunteers will help with directing traffic, registration, putting up signs, and handing out fruit, water, etc. Time requirement is 8 hours the day of the event.

Please contact Tina Baucum at 801-509-3172 or TBaucum@marchofdimes.com if you are interested in any of the above.

75 Cents of every dollar raised will go towards funding our research programs as well as our community programs. Again, our goal is to save babies!
