The 34th National Veterans Wheelchair Games are coming to Philadelphia August 12-17, 2014. Over 600 athletes will be coming to the City of Brotherly Love to compete in many sports ranging from basketball to boccia ball to quad rugby to archery and much more. One event, TABLE TENNIS, needs volunteers to assist our athletes.
Assist officials and venue coordinator with various tasks such as ball chasers, score keepers, and statistics.
Judge/scorer needed per table
Ball shaggers are needed to pick up loose balls
Statistician for head table
Great assignment for teenagers!
Ability to bend and pick up balls
Knowledge of game
Ability to observe scoring
On site training prior to event
Thursday, August 14 - 1pm
Friday, August 15 - 8am, 1pm
Volunteers will need to report 1 hour prior event kick off.
