Get Inspired is a summer internship program offered by Sewa International which allows young adults to explore and innovate new ideas geared towards the welfare of refugee communities. Over the past 6 years Get Inspired has provided a platform wherein young minds identify, create and implement projects which lead to social change in our community, all while working alongside a grassroots, non-profit organization. Its an 8 week internship program which runs from June 13 to August 6, 2017.
BAY AREA, ATLANTA, HOUSTON & CHICAGO, SAN DIEGO & LOS ANGELES is offering this opportunity. For More information log onto https://sewausa.org/project-category/sewa-internships
Interns will work in teams to operate the following programs. Please note that the temas will be different for different cities.
Children's Activities/Youth Mentorship
Event Management/Public Health
Family Services/Women Empowerment
Grant Writing/Public Relations

NOTE: This is an unpaid internship. However, Sewa can help in meeting volunteer hour requirements and assisting student attain college credit.
