What is DSACO’s CLUB?
DSACO’s Club is a social event for teens and self-advocates with Down syndrome ages 13 and up.
The purpose of the event is to hangout with friends, promote independence, as well as building social skills among peers.
The event is facilitated by volunteers.
The participants will partake in various activities that will promote communication and social abilities with one another, while still having fun in the process.
DSACO’s Club will be held on the first and third Friday of each month from 7-9 p.m.
Where?DSACO’s Club will take place at our awesome new office located at 600 NW 23rd St., Suite 206 Oklahoma City, OK 73103 (Above Orage Leaf and Pizza 23, parking located in rear).

Description
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma's mission is to raise awareness and provide resources, as well as promote acceptance and inclusion for people with Down syndrome.
We do this through a variety of family-oriented events, education workshops and community awareness campaigns such as:
- Buddy Walk
- "Reaching Across the Plains" Conference
- New Parent Visits and Quarterly New Parent Breakfast
- Monthly Educational Seminars on Topics Relating to Disabilities
- Parent to Parent Support Meetings
- Family Social Events
- Teen/Self-Advocate Events
DSACO envisions communities where everyone -- including those with disabilities -- is accepted, included, empowered and given the opportunity and choice to create their own happiness and path to success.
