Northern Virginia Family Service seeks a volunteer to serve as handyman/handywoman at our Early Head Start building. Volunteers will
- Check in with site director at start of shift for job requests
- Perform general handyman tasks
- Walk facility to check for possible overlooked items that need to be taken care of
- Work with Business Operations Director on any big project needs
- Perform emergency repairs as needed
Qualifications:
- Experienced with basic maintenance tasks -- interior painting, fixing shelves, troubleshooting and repair
- Competent using hand and power tools
- Flexible schedule availability
