Looking for adults who are 55 plus.
Provide support and companionship to an elderly or disabled client through weekly visits and phone calls. Consistently mee t with elder on a weekly basis as scheduled; call client(s) if visits cannot be kept, provide support and companionship throughout meeting, notify Program Coordinator of any concerns or changes in the condition of the client, and complete a brief monthly report to provide regular feedback to Program Coordinator. Reports may be emailed, mailed, or phoned in to JFS. Also, Friendly Visitor consults with the Program Coordinator when terminating with a client in order to ensure that termination occurs in an appropriate manner. The Volunteer must comply with the guidelines and philosophy of the program, and perform other duties and responsibilities as requested
