Purpose:
Provide support and data analysis for the National Headquarters Volunteer Management Department at the American Red Cross
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with configuration and automation of queries from the National VMS Database.
- Create or run reports using WEBI or other enterprise tools related to organizational performance monitoring.
- Assist with configuration and automation of Red Cross’ Field Operations Consolidated Information System (FOCIS)
- Provide qualitative and quantitative data aggregation support for Volunteer Management activities, such as national performance metrics, national performance analysis and organizational engagement statistics (Includes collection and consolidation of data from multiple sources.)
Qualifications:
- Experience in data management and analysis using one or more of the following: Business Objects WebI report writing, Excel modeling, Visual Basic or other scripting, Access tables, queries and reports development.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel data manipulation functions and complex formulas.
- Experience in data design skills such as graphs, charts, Power Point, Business objects reports, and Visio.
- Familiarity with Web Content Management Systems, such as HTML, and Microsoft.net a plus.
Length of Appointment: TBD
Time Commitment: Minimum of 8 hrs per week

Description
The national headquarters of the American Red Cross provides assistance with shaping and leading the organization in our mission and strategic plan. National Headquarters also assists with technical guidance to the many Red Cross units, such as Chapters, Armed Forces Emergency Services Stations and Blood Services regions. These units are responsible for the direct service to the community including disaster response and preparedness, messaging to Armed Forces military and their families, collecting and delivering blood products, teaching health and safety skills and helping reunite families through our international services.
