Transitional Housing Corporation (THC) is seeking a skilled, detail oriented, and team player to support our Family Housing Solutions Program. This role will entail data entry and administrative support for a team of case managers that administer a progressive and exciting new assessment tool called SPDAT (Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool). This is a tool that was launched in 2011, that effectively assesses what kind of housing would be best for (in our case) families. It requires regular upkeep as families are assessed prior to and during intake, then again at 30, 60 and 90 days. That being said, this data entry piece is a critical component to the work that we do and would effectively help us to better serve homeless families in Washington, DC.

We are looking for an intern that will be able to fill this data role and fit well into a team of case managers that directly serve our families. We see this person as an intricate part of the team and are looking for an individual that will be able to serve with us for at least 3 months for 16-24 hours per week depending on the current workload. Please note that this is a unpaid internship.

THC is a non-profit organization that provides housing and supportive services, including case management, employment and career development, life and parenting skills, and youth enrichment services to more than 500 homeless and at-risk families in DC so that they can make transformational changes in their lives.
