The American Cancer Society is the leader in the fight to end breast cancer and all cancers - investing the most in research of any non-governmental organization to find, prevent, treat, and cure the disease. Today, 1 in every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer reaches out to us for help and support.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society’s premier breast cancer event. It is an event that celebrates life, survivorship, and the hope that someday no one hears the words "you have breast cancer." People of all ages are encouraged to participate in this noncompetitive, family friendly, team focused 3 mile walk. There is no minimum fee to participate, either.
Want to help plan the event? We are looking for planning committee members and Day-Of Volunteers, so respond to this post and we'll find the perfect fit for you!
