The Wild Guides program is a popular volunteer program for adults interested in animals, conservation, public speaking, education, and connecting with people! Wild Guides provide top-notch customer service by assisting guests around the Zoo and Micke Grove Park, leading public programs and tours, assisting with school programs, mentoring Zoo Crew (teen) volunteers, developing educational materials and newsletters, participating in fundraising efforts, and representing the Zoo at community outreach events.
