The Montgomery Avenue Women's Center is the only daytime center that provides services exclusively for homeless women in Montgomery County Maryland. Our mission is to help homeless women achieve self-sufficiency. To accomplish this, we provide necessary case management and supportive services.

Our organization is looking for a Consistent creative, highly motivated, energetic professional team that has excellent communication skills to join our team. The Event Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating events that encourage success for our women's next step to a more promising future of self sufficiency.

For this opportunity you are able to work from home or where ever comfortable.

We are looking for a very creative and highly motivated individual with:
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-Prior experience with event coordination
-Fund raising knowledge/ ability
