The Montgomery Avenue Women's Center is the only daytime center that provides services exclusively for homeless women in Montgomery County Maryland. Our mission is to help homeless women achieve self-sufficiency. To accomplish this, we provide necessary case management and supportive services.
Our center's hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8am- 6pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am-2pm
Our organization is looking for a Consistent creative, highly motivated, energetic professional that has excellent communication skills to join our team. The Client Services Coordinator is responsible for providing meals(preparing and or serving already prepared meals), hosting daily activities that encourage success for our women's next step to a more promising future of self sufficiency.
We are looking for individuals who are:
-Very understanding to our women.

-Quick/ Strong thinkers
-Devoted to helper
-Reliable/Consistent(Must)
-Ability to multitask
-Similar work/volunteer experience is a Plus but not limiting

Description
Montgomery Avenue Women's Center is the only daytime services center exclusively for homeless women in Montgomery County, Maryland. Our purpose is to empower each individual woman to access supportive services and lifestyle options that enhance her safety and well-being. Our programs are designed to help women become self-sufficient and include daily course work, group sessions, counseling, and life skills courses in a safe, clean, caring and pleasant environment. The Montgomery Avenue Women's Center (MAWC) is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that provides a supportive services to more than 250 homeless women each year.
