We are seeking volunteers to take the lead with weekly neighborhood clean-ups. This involves some clean-up via sweeping and picking up trash, along with the neighbors and immediate community that come out for the clean-up. Afterwards, we typically get out playground balls or go play on the equipment with the kids. Sometimes we even just sit and talk. The kids love seeing new faces.
Clean-ups take place on Tuesdays at 5PM.

The Gilmore | Henne Community Fund was established in 2010 to improve our community and the lives of children through the revitalization of parks and recreational facilities.
Description
The Gilmore | Henne Community Fund revitalizes parks and playgrounds. As part of the revitalization process, we provide programming in each of the parks/playgrounds we have revitalized as well as maintain them in order to take the burden off the municipalities. Our programming includes movie nights, family fun nights, summer camp, our annual Peace on the Streets youth basketball tournament, as well as weekly neighborhood clean-ups, etc. We are active in the park when the weather allows, which is typically (April/May through October)
