Volunteer a minimum of 1 hour per week to the often forgotten senior population by being a "friend" to the seniors who currently reside in nurising facilites within Stanislaus County. This is a great opportunity for those who have a little bit of free time and would like to give back to their community. By being a friend you will have the opportunity to learn, share, grow, and be a positive support for individuals who are approaching the last years of their life. An orientation about the program, fingerprints, and background check will need to be completed before volunteering begins.
