C.A.R.E. For Animals is a non-profit animal welfare organization located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We have both adult and youth volunteer programs (ages 11 and up). **PLEASE NOTE: a PARENT must contact us if you are under the age of 18 and would like information on our youth program.
The following are three of our greatest volunteer needs however we do have some additional needs:
1- Assist with adoption events to show the animals to the public for adoption.
2- Become a FABULOUS foster family! (This is our greatest need!) Open your heart and your home to a homeless animal awaiting adoption. We pay all the expenses! The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save!!
3- Fundraising help always needed! Help with planning and organizing; Staff the fundraisers. We hold events like dog washes, photo fundraisers, silent auctions, etc.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our friends, the animals, by: strengthening the relationship between humans and animals; ending suffering due to abandonment, abuse, and neglect; and decreasing the need for euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in our shelters.
Description
C.A.R.E. For Animals is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal welfare organization. We have a rescue/adoption program and work with area shelters to save animals. We act as a support to the community and offer education and awareness. We also have a small long-term foster care program for animals with health and/or behavioral issues that require rehabilitation or prevent them from being eligible for adoption.
