Great Strides Quad Cities

On Sunday May 4, 2014, the Iowa Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host an estimated 500 guests for its Annual Great Strides Walk at Veteran's Memorial Park in Bettendorf, Iowa.

We are looking for volunteers from 8am-2pm to help with: Registration, set-up/tear-down, T-shirts, food and auction!!

Great Strides is a fundraising walk where all proceeds help fund critical research and care for children and adults faced with cystic fibrosis, a fatal genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestives systems.

We are a passionate group of people who need your help to raise thousands of dollars for Cystic Fibrosis Research and Care!

Mission Statement

To assure the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation funds research for new drugs and therapies for children and young people suffering from CF, as well as funding research for a cure to this fatal disease. The Foundation also accredits and funds specialized CF care centers throughout the US to provide state of the art care for CF patients.
