Discovery World is looking for a high school or college student age 16 or older for an entry-level volunteer internship with a variety of dynamic responsibilities!
Duties will include:
Data entry
Event assistance for Live @ the Lakefront and Point Fish Fry and a Flick
Summer camp assistance
Mail preparation
Research
Volunteer coordination
And much more!
You will learn:
How to use a variety of Microsoft Office Suite Applications
How to prepare, set up, and take down for special events
Basic office tasks
How to interact with the public while representing an organiztion
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly student who learns quickly and has a passion for science! Students are required to work 10 hours a week. Scheduling is flexible. Some evening hours required. Required G.P.A. of 2.8 or higher.
