Furry Foster is seeking a volunteer Blogger to capture stories of our foster families and create engaging content for our cause. Typical blog articles include stories, news, and events. Our goal is to build our foster community and share fun pictures are articles. If you love to write and care about animals, you will enjoy this position!
Furry Foster is growing from San Diego to the Los Angeles, Irvine & Riverside areas. Our programs connect homeless shelter dogs and cats with loving foster families and provide essential resources for rescue foster programs. We are putting together a passionate, energetic volunteer team to inspire new foster families and expand our cause.

Responsibilities:
- Write one article per week related to pet fostering and our animal rescue cause
- Interview foster families, rescues and conduct research necessary for articles
- Collect pictures, video and content related to article
Requirements:
- available 10-15 hours per week
- strong writing skills with a friendly, casual style
- enjoy interacting with new people and pets
- have excellent organization and communication skills
- be self motivated and passionate about helping animals!
If you're a college/grad student or have a pet related blog - this position is perfect for you! Schedule and hours are flexible, work remotely. Must be committed to producing one article per week.

Furry Foster is a non-profit organization that helps homeless pets by connecting them with loving foster homes and supports the hard work of local rescue organizations. We believe that ...
we can make an impact on the lives of over 3 million pets who are euthanized each year, one by one. We know that every new foster home we create is a life that's saved and every foster animal you take in is one that will be someone's forever family member. We do it because...
our team and volunteers are made up of true animal lovers. By connecting local rescue organizations with their most essential resource, foster homes, we make an impact everyday on a pet who would otherwise be euthanized. On behalf of homeless pets, we envision a world where every pet becomes a family member and no pet is sentenced to death. Every new foster home brings us one paw closer to that goal.
Our job is to help pets and support rescues but, we can't do it wihout the help of volunteers like you. Join us on our mission to create 10,000 new foster homes in 2012.
