Wilkins Avenue Women's Assessment Center in Rockville, MD is in need of a fresh coat of paint. The Emergency Homeless shelter opens its doors to 65 women each night to provide a safe and welcoming place during a difficult time of transition in their life. It's important to have a bright and fresh space for the women to rest their heads at night. If you or your group is able to provide the paint and supplies needed for this project we'd love to have you sign up for this opportunity on Join Hands Day, March 5, 2014 from 8:30 am - 12 pm. Please contact our Volunteer Services program staff to find out more information about this awesome opportunity!
Every volunteer is required to complete an application and a brief interview prior to being assigned to this opportunity. Here is the link to our online application form: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1190255427
