Good Shepherd Hospice welcomes Volunteers in both the administration and patient care. Volunteers are part of the hospice team and the work they do is deeply valued. Patient care volunteers can play a variety of roles, for example: sitting with a patient and providing conversation, reading a book, playing a game, cooking meals for the family, light errands, providing relief for a loved one, or create a life legacy project. Administration volunteers help in the office with filing, preparing mailings, computer input, organization, or assist with volunteer training.
Good Shepherd Hospice knows the value and imortance of our volunteers. Volunteers play a viatal role in the team of hospice services and make a strong impact on our families. We promote the personal growth and development of our volunteers and appreciate the services they provide. We strive to make certain our volunteers feel valued and stay engaged with our team members.
