Lambert House is Seattle's center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth. We are currently seeking CyberCenter volunteers. We have an up-to-date CyberCenter with seven workstations. Volunteers make the center available for youth to access, ensure users work within the parameters of the CyberCenter guidelines, and occasionally assist users with printing, scanning, programs, writing resumes, word processing, or researching on the internet. If you have particular skills in web design, resume composition, graphic design, or other software programs then there may be occasional opportunities to share these talents, but it is not a requirement of the position. CyberCenter Volunteers make a commitment to one shift per week for a minimum of one year. Potential volunteers must attend a three day training; the next training will be held October 17, 18, & 24 - 2015.
Contact us for an application and more information regarding our process.
