Art Center Sarasota is looking for high school students to act as teacher assistants for our summer camp instructors at our Creative Kids Summer Art Camp. Duties include, helping with supplies, helping assist the kids with their art projects and monitoring the children throughout the day. The camp runs for 10 weeks starting June 6 through Aug. 19th. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-3:00 or 3:00-5:00. Students can volunteer for as many weeks as they would like to. This is a fun and creative way for high schoolers to gain their community service hours for school and Bright Futures scholarships.

We proudly present master workshops instructed by world renowned artists and classes taught by professional local artists. Our exhibitions feature fine art from local, national, and international artists. We have four galleries which showcase a variety of themes. Our outreach programs have a tremendous effect on the youth and elderly citizens of Sarasota. We provide a destination for kids and teens to learn about fine art and the fundamentals of painting, ceramics, sculpture, and textiles.
