Change a life, its forever! Become a Forsyth County Girl Scout volunteer and use your expertise, skills, interest and life experience as a coach, mentor or adviser. Inspire and empower girls ages 5-17 to have a fun and enriching leadership experience as they reach their personal best. Girl Scout volunteers come from all walks of life-community leaders, college students, retirees, grandparents, moms and dads. Girl Scout volunteers have one thing in common-they bring special talents to share with girls.

1. Flexible, Patient and Fun!: Adapt to the situation to make Girl Scouting Easy, Meaningful and FUN!

2. Girl Focused: Facilitate girl-led goal setting and cooperative, hands-on learning opportunities tied to leadership outcomes. Fosters Diversity - understands & embraces differences.

3. Adults 18

5. Willing to register as a Girl Scout member ($15/year, financial assistance available).

7. You can select the age of the girls you want to work with, the days and times of meetings, and the choice of activities that fit your schedule.

8. Volunteer Process, application and Criminal Background Check for Girl Scouts.

9. Training required.
