Do you love horses?
Are you a hard-worker who enjoys being outdoors?
Are you between the ages of 10-14?
The Tri-State Therapeutic Riding Center needs junior volunteers to help out around the barn during our Reinbow Riders evening lessons! No experience is required, just show up ready to work and learn!
The Tri-State Therapeutic Riding Center offers several equine-assisted therapy programs that work with special needs, disabilities, at-risk youth, and veterans. We need your help to ensure that things get done so our instructors are free to teach and work with clients. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting riders in grooming/tacking horses
- Feeding and watering horses
- Raking & shoveling out stalls
- Maintaining overall appearance of barn
- Assisting in miscellaneous projects around the barn (varies)
Classes are held Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00pm - 7:00pm , and Saturdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm .
We have a covered arena, so classes are held rain or shine. We will be outdoors, so please dress weather accordingly. Closed-toed shoes are a must!
