If you are looking for a meaningful and rewarding way to spend your lunch hour, Meals on Wheels could be the answer for you! Meals On Wheels is a mid-day meal service providing daily nutrition and safety checks to homebound seniors throughout the Madison, Middleton, Monona, and Sun Prairie area. Meals are made fresh daily at Market Street Diner and are then transported to five main pick-up locations to best fit your convenience. We estimate routes take about an hour and the commitment level is flexible; volunteers can choose what works best with their schedule.
Volunteers need a valid driver’s licenses and brief orientation sessions to go over delivery process. If volunteers are under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult.
