Networking
Connect with our clients to help them develop their networking skills.

Share the story of your career journey during Maryland New Directions' informal Connections Friday Panel. As part of our career training program, our job-seeking clients learn about various professions, receive career advice, hear different career journeys and practice networking skills.

Connections Friday occurs on select Fridays from 12:00-2:00 p.m.

How it works:

  • Guest Speakers arrive at MND at 12:00 for a 30 minute orientation. Guests may bring their lunch, light refreshments will be served.
  • Share your employment story! Discuss where you are in your career today, challenges you have overcome, rewards you celebrate and wisdom you have gained along the way,
  • Q & A: Answer questions from our clients in a group setting.
  • Networking time! Our new-to-networking clients will want to talk with you. You may hand out business cards at your discretion.
